With regard to maximum zoom executable in Weapons Station Coordinator:
You can not zoom more than 10 NMi.
Especially when there is a high density of contacts less than 3 NMi, it is sometimes difficult to select the contact you have, and understand, what is the contact.
This is not a bug, is so also in the original game.
Is possible modify to zoom maximum up to 5 NMi, like ASTAC??
