i know the mod is awesome especially the hunt for red october typhoon someone should make a hunt for red october campaign so will the typhoon ever have 6 torpedo tubes and 20 slbm launchers

Huge request to all commanders of submarines, warships and anti-submarine aircrafts:
if you have inappropriate behavior of units or REGULAR game crashes you must send us a mission to which this occurs with a description of actions that lead to CTD, the module and the offset in which the crash occurred.

This greatly help us solve the problem.
Of course, if it is possible to solve :)

edit: oh, well, I found out, that the SSN21's Periscope and ESM Mast will break at 10knots, even if Sail Bridge already over surface. Oo
And they break at 56ft after bridge breaked through ice at 0knts.

astute and graney possible. why we need vanguard? there are only four subs of this type, is not "stars" of submarines warfare, only collision with french ssbn is famous event:157:. solid dwx team thinks that we don't really need many platforms with similar characteristics, such as vanguard and triumphant. ohio , i guess, may substitute both subs. adding of new platforms is very boring process and crazyivan can not add any subs which community wants.there are many things need to be corrected before adding useful units.

Yeah, I think you said everything about that. Its more important to fix all of these bugs DW brings with to play a game correctly. Platforms are just a special feature of this mod, but the maintance is to make DW a playable more realistic simulation than it is a the moment! :bud:

Full agreement from French team (even if we were lucky to get a playable Suffren:157:). In any case the boomers can be simulated by other and do not play a big role in most of the missions edited up to now. Keep on the good work on the game proper, we might add units as community job afterwards...

I have noticed strange issue. Helicopters aren't able to detect any submarine. They are in proper mode, do howering near the sub (about 1mn for example). It relates both US and RUS helicopters.

Is this common issue or I must reinstal my game/mod ? :D

Iam looking forward for your new update, one more time now, so i wish you a mery christmas over there and happy programming.^^ One of you have now offered me twice to use this "ingame movie making" tool ore something like that for my next movie.

Currently it works well without it, too, i just think about something like "Countdown 3" or anything about RA 1.3. As like before, if you have any wishes or specific ideas for this movie, just tell me, ill give my best to bring them down to .wmv.

Is eliminated default engine bug, when radars and the visual sensors (an AI Platforms) could not see submerged a submarine.

For Playable platforms it worked properly - in original game.
Anyway, the automatic visual pilot (or auto radar crew) by the helicopter (or P-3), is capable to mark contact of a submarine, when from it there is a trace of sail foam on water.

But AI of a platform, by default, were unable to this.


Also - the ability for detecting masts, was now improved.

For example - the Akula-I has PD as 20 meters. The sensor controls of detectors of masts, can see this submarine on depth of 22 meters.

On depth of 23 meters - submarine already undetectable.

Typhoon: PD = 30 meters. On depth of 31 meters - the sub is invisible to a sensor control of search of masts.
However on depth of 30 meters (PD) - the sensor control is capable it to find out.
