I'm playing Crazy Ivan's campaing, 3rd mission, where I need to locate an american sub. It's impossible to detect... I'm pinging him from all directions, launching torps to make him go flank speed and still nothing... Is the campaign compatible with this mod? |

Ok, tried the 3rd mission again from the folder SubComm-Campaigns and there is no US sub at all (Show truth enabled) :(

I didn't sink any sub in the campaign.
edit: Maybe it's bugged because I finished the first two missions in the old campaign. Now in the 4th missions it says I did an excellent job in the Missile test mission lol. Are there any campaigns in this forum to download? |

I have played around a bit and I think torpedoes and sensors are bugged/nerfed big time... I'm cruising at 35 knots above layer about 1 nm from a torpedo and it doesn't pick me up (active sensor). Some subs don't even detect me even tho I'm driving around them under 5 miles away!! I got "locked on" only by one torpedo so far and I've been targeted by like 3 torps at once every time. They are totally blind/deaf. Neither does AI launch torps deep so it's easy to hide. The torp detection range is extremely bad and even with knowing the exact location of a ship, the torpedo misses...
edit: Surface ships are terrible at spotting me. I remember in stock game in this mission (http://www.subguru.com/DW_missions/Malabar.zip) I got sunk many times by the destroyers but with this mod I'm never detected, let alone sunk. So what's wrong with this mod? |

Want to thanks again RA team for its efforts on RA MOD: yesterday the french, polish and and italian dangerous waters communities played an international game with more than 12 players using RA 1.37 and we really enjoyed the game (here the replay)!
Please keep your work up, still really appreciated by lot of people around the world! |

Just found a bug... Playing as Los Angeles, when guessing range in the stadimeter, the guessed range is given in METERS although it says YDS. The range on the tactical map is given in yards tho... I guesstimated a range of 8190 (supposedly yards) and checked on the tac map: the range displayed on the map is aproximately 8950 which is what you get if you convert 8190 meters in yards. You guys may want to fix this..
