Re: The extra tube, I noticed the absence of it in gameplay, so the cosmetic bug is insignificant - some things you just have to live with!

Cough British units a type 23 is ASW Frigate and would love the Swiftsure boats and would kill for a Upholder which means our Canadian friends would have a sub too. Do you guys have a pay pal I would like to donate some money to the cause. With out RA DW would have been a long has been instead it's growing it's people back little by little. Now I won't have the extra money to donate for another month when I get my taxes but I'd love to by the RA Team some Pizza and Beer

New bug found:
Torpedoes (MU-90) from NFH-90 when you play Bergamini have no any homming device. They are not pinging and run very shallow circle (about 1 m below surface).
They also doesn't react for active or passive decoy.

MU-90 from Bergamini works fine.

BTW now i have Jane's version of 688i H/K with 1.07 patch + improved dll's and game is better than 1.08 from Naval Pack. Also your update works correctly, without CTD.

Have you guys thought about using some of the 3d models from Fleet Command NWP ? There are some sexy ships and subs The new dd51 flt 1 and flt 3 are very nice. Along with the Nimitz and Enterprise have only started going though them but theres lots of good ones we can add for eye candy in dw

I want to come back to UMM-44 SUBROC weapon. After several tests, I can say that something is wrong with the payload.

Even yesterday, when playing on Strugeon I launched several UUM-44 to enemy ships and some of them explodes just after falling to the water - which is ok.

But some of them (3-4) after falling to the water did not explode. They behaved like a mine. After couple of minutes, when enemy sub appeared in the proximity of the "mine", the UMM-44 exploded and damaged the sub.

I do not remember such behavior in RA.1.40

I have both patches (#1 and #2) installed.

I found one path1 for 141 only, where's no2?

Try the new file doctrine. Also, SHKVAL - fixed ascent to the surface, at small depths run.

The scenario –Frozen Bones- looks very good.


It reminded me, of the existence of such autonomous radio complex:


“Superrock KYOI was located at Agingan point of Saipan island. Both studio and transmitter facilities were co-sited in the same building, a 2,000-square-foot (190 m2) concrete structure designed to withstand hurricane winds of 150 miles per hour and earthquakes of magnitude 3 on the Richter scale. The entire plant was self-sufficient, with its own 450-kilowatt diesel generator and a 2,500-gallon water catchment system with filtering unit and compression tank. The station had a powerful transmitter, a Continental Electronics 418-D-2, 100-kilowatt high level plate modulated, with an automatic servo system, allowing pre-tuning of channels in use. Three tubes sat in tanks of distilled water that boiled off into steam and then condensed back into water to be returned to the system.
The antenna system consisted of a complex and elaborate array, composed of 16 dipoles phased together directed towards an azimuth of 340 degrees true. The program of broadcasting consisted of continuous top 40 rock music controlled primarily by a computer audio sequencing system, with automated song title and station identification announcements inserted as required. The same computer system was also used to change frequency 4 times daily, completely eliminating operator error. The music was run from a program automation system, which held up to seven days of twenty-four-hour programming. A time clock was incorporated allowing station IDs and frequency change announcements to be aired at predetermined times. Music, commercials and jingles were all called up from a series of carts also by the computer system.
From its two 170-foot (52 m) towers, the latest in rock music was beamed to a primarily young Japanese audience of 18- to 30-year-olds from one end of Japan to the other. Among major advertisers supporting the station and its programs were Seiko, Sony, and Air Micronesia.”

oh, thx . It is very simple scenario. Usually my missions are much more complex.

This legendary station. For his age - and this was 1982, equipment and computer control was just fantastic.

My shortwave receivers, were always tuned to a broadcasting frequency, KYOI station.

First, thank you for this great mod!

I have found two possible bugs.

1. If you launch decoys from the torpedo station in the 688, they will go deep and not to your current depth. You can still launch shallow decoys from the nav map however.

2. I can't get the UUV to work. It will run at 15knots and I can't enable it.

Start through pressing of buttons FIRE - Launch ONLY DEEP CM!
However - time hovering is reduced about 8 seconds, after that the CM leaves on depth - below
than 656 ft of a SUB.
It is stipulated for emergency situations - when the player can is sharp rise upwards being
rescued from a torpedo - and that to direct her deeply.

2. Read document - RA_Weapon_Info_rev37.pdf. (also as item #1 about CM's)

Ok good, I had missed the part about sub countermeasures.

However I have read the part about the UUV and cant figure it out.
I had no problem using them before with 1.39.

But you are confirming that the UUV:s are working as intended?

Edit: If I understand correctly, if you launch CM from the torpedo station it is supposed to be hovering for a short while and then start to sink?
My CM doesnt hover at all, they just sink the second I launch them

I dont understand what to do. In the Database folder I have 14 files. How do I find object No 413?

And the CM, can you confirm that they are supposed to hover when launched from station and not sink immediately like mine does?
