classification filter in sonar station can classify enemy platform before even showing noise lines in sphere station screen

If you do not see the lines - it does not mean that they do not exist :)
To see the faint lines you must configure the gamma for the monitor.
Set .Gamma "0.6" in dangerouswaters.ini in section [Graphics] and you will see weak lines.
(This setting applied for fullscreen mode)

2. AI helicopter controlled by player is losing it's ability to hover after droping torpedo. It means that after helicopter attack it is useless for any ASW purposes.

For normal work of AI helicopter controlled by player is needed to set it operation mode after launch.
Do you set helo`s work mode as it write in RA_Weapon_Info_rev2.pdf page44 and next?

This is very complicated bug.
The work continues, but the end is not clear yet...
