I think network connection good.

When that were such recommendations for network connection 688/HK:

Host should be on the most advanced computer - greatest speed of the processor, good memory. Fast inet.

Probably that having developed some principles of network game, it will be possible to minimize CTD effects

Report from the second game:

3 players (688 FLT III) (suffren) (host casabianca)

the game freeze by 2 players with 4 min late on the internal clock and for the host (me) i see this :

This is one of our more simple and troubled multiplayer mission (it is very challenging mission): Akula II make for me and another commmander a blue screen and reboot, with no logs in event. Hope can help in problem investigation. No issue reported if played in single player.Thanks

Hey, folks!

The Bmp has completed, but i dont know how to use it with DW. I dont have any idea how to edit the .dll´s, so perhaps you can do it or tell me, how.

Sorry falconsix, but is it finish?
If yes, it is not realistic: no texture, no shades, no gauge indicators... it is just a bunch of windows with no graphic put on the screen.
We are looking for realistic panels, with right positions for instruments but also a minimum of graphic and connections with the real units, as the RA team did for the new platforms introduced, and your solution have to be improved in this way.
Last, we are an international community, so why do not use english on indicators, to let all people able to understand what they mean?
I think you can agree and think the same...

My thought was to keep the drop down window, wich shows the english translation, as it was to keep it comprehendible. But i would be happy, if the Interface of each unit is in the language of each country. My first thougt was to make for all DW - players on the world a "Home - Sub - Interface", so i begun with the german, cause it is my one.

I am not able to put some indicators in, i dont know, how,
but i think, ill work on it a little more, replace the "Air Pressure" Gauge by an analog one and something like this.
Much more atmosphere is not easy to realise with paint.

The "Completed" was meant for the BMP for the Background, not for the entire Interface.

In any way, i need help to complete it, currently, it is not nearly useable.

well, when we do talk about realism, you should have a look at modern submarines. You'll see that new Type 212 and Virginia class has economical displays just like me and you and all the indicators have a touch of good old windows from microsoft.
Nowadays you dont push any mechanical button or pull a rusty trigger anymore. Nowadays you just press the mousebutton. And this would fit great to our DW.
This is what I call realism... I dont like these layouts with bitmaps that try to like a "real" metal penal. There are no crappy metal panels in subs anymore...

Me and FalconSix would really like to be able to create all layouts, especially for german 212 Type.
But we sure know that this isnt that important for a Mod like this, so we dont want to interrupt your work right now.
If the main interest is focused on gameplay improvements, the optical enhancement is not that neccesary. But maybe there's a way we could offer a external support with creating some new "more realistic" designs, if it is generally requested.
One thing we dont have any idea of is how to make the layouts functional. So we cant really imagine how much work it is.

So finally the decission is up to you, Kapitan!

Yep, Panzermensch and me are already stay in contact and work very enthusiastic on our project. And if our work is usefull for you, we will of course, make more of them. I already thinkin about a new Alfa - Interface, or for the Ohio.

First, we want to complete the 212, just cause we are germans, and we speak the language. But it is not our last project.

Has anyone ever had this problem?
I made a scenario with some kind of konvoi (about 25 civillian ships and 4 escort ships) being attacked by 4 submarines. If I stay with my view at my own sub, everything is good. But once I click any other unit, the game immediately crashes.

Is there any known problem like this?

Big mission with a lot of IA ship (civilian and armed) and land unit

Just one CTD from the host when he sunk because a torpedo, the game crash 2 seconds after the hit.

Played multiplayer with 8 players, following CrazyIvan suggestion (powerful PC AMD Phenom X3, 4GB RAM, XP SP3, good and stable network).
Units: 2 Victor II, 1 Alfa, 1 Los Angeles I FLT, 1 Stargeon, 1 P-3, 1 TU-Bear, 1 MH-60, AI with O.H.Perry, multiple civilians, Spruance, few biologic.
Time of play: 2H30M. Everything was fine, no CTDs, great enjoy of the game for the players all.
Thanks CrazyIvan and RA team: this time the game was really great!

Update from 28.05.2011 has been released.

Pay attention - after rewriting files, visit a folder graphics and execute BAT a file! _Inst_Nav_Night_Lights.bat. It will establish the corrected models of the ships.

Even it (Nav.lights on Civilian Ships) guy from SCS could not make correctly. I am surprised - how such developers can do what that for government?

Can we apply the new update 28.5 on the last one of 19.5 or have we to reinstall the 1.32 and then the lastest patch 28.5?

Reinstall not require.
Just copy files, and added in graphics archive fixed ship models (Bat file applied)
