DSRV launching on Virginia fatal crash, Virginia sink with 0 damage appear

I run several tests in database leve,can't fixed it. I guess it might have something to do with the Virginia 3D model design

Yes you are right - problem in model.

Unfortunately we have not established own correct model.

Question : Why is it necessary to install the english voice pack? Game seems to be running in english without it?

Hi Guys,

Yesterday somebody in this thread (I'm sorry I forgot the name, and I can't seem to find the post in question) posted an update to the USNI database to be used with DWX1.1. It seems the update files are not entirely compatibile with the english version, a friend of mine tried to install it and told me that the USNI database ended up with gibberish, strange characters.
Maybe the files contain cyrillic characters, and these haven't been translated to english thus the incompatibility.
Can you guys make an international version available, so thay it will install correctly in the english version of DW ?

Another thing that maybe is not clear to many people :


Concerning Subrocs :


The RA weapons guide says (for the different subrocs) that the active or passive mode is set randomly by the doctrine.

On the other hand for the UUM-125B subroc it says that the active/passive mode above or below the layer can be set by the player.
And then goes on and says that this new mode also applies to all other torpedo-tipped subrocs (which contradicts whats written for the other subrocs).

So I guess that the "active or passive random mode" is superceded and is not used anymore. Is this correct ?
Now ALL subrocs that carry torpedoes wether us or russian can use this manual to set active/passive above or below layer search mode.

And if so, the RA weapons guide should be amended to reflect this change. Otherwise people will be confused.

In additional sound pack some sounds are replaced by more realistic.
It is optional.
Besides, it is still not compatible with DWX v1.1 - to be updated.

No, quickly reworked old model.
Unfortunately do not have time to manufacture a new model :(
Perhaps later, if nobody will do it sooner :)

The main challenge now - to remove the sound bug.
Since it is a bug from original DW 1.04 and not just RA 1.1, it will take some time to correct the exe and dll`s.

What a year of further waiting? I certainly hope it won't need that long .

Any idea how long is needed to fix the sound bug? Any estimate?

1. Most of the new subs added do not have "deploy special forces" commend. It was told that it is alredy done for the 1.1 version.

2. AI helicopter controlled by player is losing it's ability to hover after droping torpedo. It means that after helicopter attack it is useless for any ASW purposes.

3. Is this possible in the future to fix the bug of wake-homing torpedos (the don't lock on human controlled surface ships now) ?

However, 1.1 is really cool. Torpedos work excellent and many other things too.
