Akula-II and Akula-III were removed 65-76. However, this was replaced by a Stallion SS-N-16, with tactical depth charge (88P modification missile) - ASW primary and ASuW as an alternative mission.
The question about whether the Akula-I must has external tubes still actual.
Half of the subs in this class have outer tubes, the other does not. What decision to choose - install a tubes or delete?
I do not want to divide Akula-I class into 2 subclasses, with external tubes and without them.
