Windows 8.x fix for Dangerous Waters
 

I found this earlier and thought it might be useful to some. Got my brother's laptop working the game with windows 8.1 installed. Be sure and read the instructions carefully, especially about the video resolution anomaly. Clean DW install patched to 1.04 and, of course the DWX mod and, it runs perfectly. :D

A player belonging to Betasom community verified that the fix seems to work also on the W10 beta: you really did a new life to DWX!

But i think it is still a little bit buggy... As i tried to change the The Resolution to 1280x1024 the game crashed. so i manually set the ".ModeID 3" in the ini. :-) And it worked.

Thanks now i can play my best Game on my new PC :-)

The video resolution is a known issue and covered in the README included with the DLL. file.
